Life of Riches is a luxury themed game, and at the same time it appears to have a bit of an Asian influence. What I mean is that an Asian billionaire seems to be living big in this game, at least if we go by the beautiful Asian women that surround him wherever he goes. Life of Riches gives us 30 active lines, will spin 5 reels for you and will pay as much as $15,000 if you’re really lucky. Its features seem well thought out, offering wilds which apply multipliers, free spins which will do the same thing, plus scatters and stacked regular icons.
The number of lines can be modified here, while in other slots it’s not an option that you get. You can have up to 30 active lines, you can set bets of up to 10 coins for each one, and you can decide that you want coin values of up to $0.25. The maximum bet per line can reach $2.50, while the total can go up to $75.
A slot machine with a luxury theme is not rare, and most developers will offer at least one such title. The things you see on the reels will show you the expensive things that you can buy, but few of them will also show off the kind of lifestyle that you can have. This is something that Life of Riches does, and so in addition to symbols of private jets, yachts, super cars, travel and expensive watches, there are also the ones which show you beautiful women next to you, as you’re playing roulette at a casino, about to board a jet, drive a car, play golf or drink cocktails on a tropical island. I’ve enjoyed both the fact that you get only symbols that belong on those reels, no Royals, and the quality of the graphics. There are no real animations there though, so the symbols will just blink on and off when they’re in a winning combination. The background looks like an expensive wallpaper, which uses only shades of dark reds, but it doesn’t contribute to the theme much otherwise.
The regular symbol that can pay the most, up to $2,500 for a full combo, is the one that has the image of an elegant woman in a red dress, next to a roulette table. This is the only symbol, out of the regular ones, which appears stacked on the reels. The next symbol worth of a mention would be the wild, as a symbol which can act as a replacement for others, but which also pays on its own if it gets the chance. Its own combinations will pay up to $10,000. When it is used as a substitute, the wild will double the win offered with its assistance. You can form a combination of wilds with as little as two symbols, as long as they’re arranged properly. The Globe symbol, with the private jet flying over it, is the other big feature, a scatter that triggers free spins and awards big payouts. Having a couple of symbols of this type, anywhere in view on the reels, will get you a cash prize at the very least. The payouts start from 2x the bet value and get up to 200x if you have all five symbols required. The scattered Globe gets you free spins as well, but you need a minimum of three symbols to be visible. There are 10 free spins offered at that point, with a multiplier of 2x used on all wins, even those that already get the wild’s multiplier. It’s worth noting that the wild symbol is stacked during free spins. To retrigger the free games, the player needs another three or more Globe scatters, to appear as he’s using the first 10 free spins he got.
The jackpot in Life of Riches has different values, depending on the moment when you get it. The same combination of five wilds can get you $10,000 in the base game, or $20,000 during the free spins. It’s also a stacked symbol at that point, so it’s even possible that you will get up to 30 combinations of that value at the same time. The better one to get during regular spins is the scatter’s $15,000, which also needs five symbols, but not in any particular position.
Life of Riches manages to offer the player a slightly different type of luxury theme than other games it competes with, which might be enough to make it worth playing. It can pay well enough and it has multiple features that will improve your experience.
