About

Trolls Bridge is offered by Yggdrasil Gaming, as a slot machine with a fantasy inspired theme, the kind of game where you see actual trolls, creatures that you’d expect to find in a movie based on a Tolkien novel. It’s a cuter kind of troll that we see here, but these creatures still look fierce and dangerous, being dressed and armed for war. 20 fixed lines were placed on 5 reels, each one with 3 symbols on it. The list of features is a long one, giving us free spins, winning spins, multipliers, wild symbols of four different types and others. Regular top payouts appear to have an upper limit of $2,500.

Betting requirements

Trolls Bridge has its 20 lines that are always active, and so the wagers will have 20 coins in them at all times. You do have full control over the value of those coins though, and with their range of $0.01 to $10, the total bet that you can use will start from $0.20 and go as high as $200. You can take the wager to $250, by activating the Golden Bet. This will give you an extra feature pick during free spins, if you trigger them.

Theme & Design

As far as the theme of Trolls Bridge goes, the action seems to take us inside a small fortress that is occupied by the trolls. The bridge that is mentioned in the title is also the gate to their encampment, and it goes down over the moat on their command. In the meantime, that bridge is up and it serves as support for the slot’s 5 reels. The reels look made out of wood as a result, but it is colored in dark shades of purple and blue. Look to the right and left, and you will see the palisade made out of huge wood stakes, along with barrels, chains and the flag of the trolls. When it comes to symbols, the game gets you started with images of shields, logos and cauldrons filled with vile concoctions. Next, you will discover the high paying symbols, four of them and showing just as many trolls. Each troll has a different look, with armor on, and it is placed inside a picture frame made out of four tied up human bones. Four other symbols are available on the paytable, card suits which look hand made by the trolls, using materials like wood and bones in their construction. All in all, it’s a design that is enjoyable, cartoonish and funny at times, so I think that once again Yggdrasil Gaming did well in this area.

Special Features

Yggdrasil wasn’t shy about using wild symbols, four different types actually. The regular wild symbol is present during regular and free spins, and it is a simple substitute, which you can use as part of all sorts of new combinations made up of regular symbols. The other three types of wilds you will discover among the feature picks. The Bonus Pot is a symbol which you get on the 5th reel, and which you only need to show up once in order to get you 6 to 10 free spins, with 3 to 5 active features in them. There are also payouts of up to 1,000 coins offered by it. Another way to get free spins is through the regular scatter symbol, which is actually marked with the words Free Spins on it. 3+ of these scatters will be sufficient to get you the feature, with 6 to 10 rounds in it and 3 to 5 picked features. The free spins get a total of six potential features, and you can choose several, depending on how many triggering symbols you had. One option will get you 2 or 3 additional free spins, another will place a 2x multiplier on all wins, and then you have the super stacked troll, the wild troll, the sticky wild for the middle three reels or the random wilds added to each round. You can even have all six features active under certain circumstances (with Golden Bet active and five triggering scatters for the free spins). Bonus Stone is the name of a random feature, which gives you up to 1,000 coins during losing spins, or up to 5x multipliers for winning spins.

Trolls Bridge

Jackpot

The regular combinations formed in Trolls Bridge can deliver payouts of 250 coins, so up to $2,500 during paid spins and $5,000 during free spins where multipliers are active. The better payouts come from the bonus features though, the ones called Bonus Pot and Bonus Stone, both capable of paying up to 1,000 coins, or $10,000. The announced average RTP for Trolls Bridge is of 96.50%, a number that I’m quite satisfied with, since it’s a bit over the average of newer titles.

Conclusion

Trolls Bridge has the modern graphics that Yggdrasil Gaming usually comes up with, has a big list of features for you to enjoy, plus its average RTP is on the high side. You should have all the reasons you need to give it a spin or two.
