SOFTSWISS has outlined a new future roadmap and positioning strategy in response to significant changes impacting the global iGaming landscape. The technology provider has identified that market fragmentation and increasing complexity for operators require a shift away from transactional vendor relationships. Instead, the company is focusing on fostering long-term partnerships by delivering regulatory expertise, strong service, and operational reliability.
Strategic Shift and Operator Support
To meet the evolving demands of global online slot markets, SOFTSWISS is adapting its approach to better support its network of over 1,500 brand partners. The provider aims to address the challenges operators face in an increasingly regulated environment. Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, highlighted the necessity of this transition. "The role of the technology partner has fundamentally changed over the past few years," Montik explained. "As iGaming becomes more regulated and more complex, operators need much more than technology alone."
Montik further noted that operators now require partners capable of understanding complex regulations while bringing operational expertise to support sustainable, long-term growth. "Over the past 17 years, we’ve built those capabilities alongside the technology at the core of our business," he added. "Our updated positioning doesn’t change who we are – it simply reflects the company we’ve become and the role we already play for our partners." As part of this strategic realignment, SOFTSWISS will roll out a new visual identity across 2026 to reflect its updated market position.
Game Aggregator and Slot Management Tools
Alongside its broader strategic roadmap, SOFTSWISS has introduced practical updates to directly aid operators with slot game content management. Last month, the online slot software provider launched a new Games List tool integrated into its Game Aggregator back office. This feature consolidates the company’s complete game catalogue into a single, accessible location, significantly reducing the administrative effort required to manage extensive title libraries.
The Games List tool introduces comprehensive filtering capabilities tailored specifically for slot management. Operators can sort their available catalogue using precise parameters, including return to player (RTP) percentages, volatility levels, and release dates. Furthermore, the system allows filtering by specific slot game features, categories, and individual game providers. Each slot title also includes a detailed view that displays essential information such as game mechanics, mathematical characteristics, supported devices, and associated licensing details.
Optimising Operator Portfolios
The introduction of the Games List tool addresses direct feedback from operators struggling to navigate expansive slot portfolios. Gretta Kochkonyan, Head of Business Development and Partner Studios at SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator, outlined the operational benefits of the update. "Operators often tell us that managing a large game portfolio can be challenging and time-consuming," Kochkonyan stated.
By implementing these advanced filtering and viewing options, SOFTSWISS aims to streamline the content discovery process. "They need better tools to navigate available content and identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation," Kochkonyan continued. "The Games List provides a clear and transparent overview of the catalogue, helping teams discover relevant content faster and make more informed decisions aligned with player preferences."
