About

Weekend in Vegas is pretty clear from the get go, on the kind of theme that you will have access to inside. It’s going to take you to Las Vegas, the city of sin, and the place where millions of people go each year to have fun and unwind. The adventure that’s being proposed here appears to be inspired by a movie series that came out during the last decade, called The Hangover. There are three main characters inside, just like in the movie, but Betsoft appears to have gone with their own story, rather than license the original. Expect to be able to use 243 ways to win inside, on 5x3 reels. Wild symbols, stacked icons, scatters, bonus games, Money Wheels and free spins are all present as well, as features that will help make the game more enjoyable in the long run. A jackpot of $1,500 is possible, with the right symbols and wagers.

Betting requirements

Given the nature of the layout, with ways to win involved, you’re getting the option to use a fixed number of coins, or multiples of that amount. You need 25 coins at the very least, to get the reels going, and you can have wagers of up to 125 coins. The theoretical lines, which will decide the value of your prizes, will be fixed at 25, accepting 1 to 5 coins each. As for that coin value, it runs from $0.01 to $1. The highest line bet reaches $5, while the total can get to $125.

Theme & Design

As I’ve mentioned, the story of Weekend in Vegas appears to revolve around three guys that go there to have fun, and they seem to have been modeled after the characters from The Hangover series of films. In this case, the game has Loony Larry, Cautious Chris and Balanced Ben, and they’re just as different from each other as the guys from the movie. These three appear as stacked icons, which may occupy between 1 and 3 positions on a reel. Some of the other symbols involved include the stripper’s legs, the Las Vegas sign and the Police Car. The five least interesting symbols get poker cards. Betsoft is a big name in the online casino industry, being regarded as one of the best developers of slot machines. They have a Slots3 series which includes only titles of the highest quality, the kind that have actual stories and properly modeled bonus features in them. Weekend in Vegas is one of those excellent slots, and it has high end graphics inside, especially if you check out the symbols with the three characters.

Special Features

An image with the Las Vegas sign, which has a Wild logo on top, is the symbol which was naturally chosen to substitute for other symbols which need it. With a game that has ways to win, all that is needed is for the wild to land on a reel where another icon is needed, it doesn’t have to appear in a fixed position on it. Wild symbols in this game are only available on the reels 2 and 4, which is the downside. They get two extra reels during free spins. A Police Car scatter is going to be usable inside, as the only symbol that can appear anywhere on the reels. The payments will start coming from it when you have at least two visible, while the free spins need three or more. 8, 12 or 20 free spins may be activated with its help. A 2x multiplier applies to all your wins during free spins. You will also get wild symbols on the last four reels, rather than on just two. Once you’re done with your free spins, the game will give you a single spin on a Money Wheel, with a chance to get further inside the wheel, to its inner levels, where the rewards are higher. This being a Betsoft title, it also has a bonus game inside, which tells you more about the story of the three guys. You need the same stacked character symbol to appear and be fully visible on at least three reels, in order to trigger the feature. You pick a character, and you get a different experience from each one, and different odds of winning, as well as different possible amounts.

Jackpot

Rewards from the base game can reach a maximum value of $1,500, which can be doubled during free games, to $3,000. It’s not a life changing amount, but it’s decent for a game which gives you lots of chances to get paid, on 243 ways to win. There is even an above average RTP to go with the game, sitting at 96.6%, which should be enough to make it a good choice in its category.

Conclusion

There aren’t that many Betsoft slot machines that I would recommend you skip. Most of them, and Weekend in Vegas is included, have better RTP potential than the average, plus their graphics are among the best in the industry.
